That's the very approximate line not accounting for interim retirements or voluntary reductions.
this is correct according to the MEC message, however Brian’s CCS memo today very specifically mentions 3900 and then the ACTIVE pilot number (11,675). Perhaps there was an earlier understanding using the percentage/total calculation but my read is that now we are talking about 11,675-3900=7,775 by early next year. I do believe there is gamesmanship involved regarding the cares 2 money
