Can you sew masks? Those are in demand.
Edit: One thing we can do is cancel all contracts for outsourced flying and take it all back in house.
Well sitting on the side lines hoping you don’t run out of money isn’t a strategy. There are companies making money flying planes. Cargo for one, Charter for another. They need to do more to make people feel safe. Invest in rapid testing, like I here employees might be doing before going to Hong Kong. Maybe special masks hooked up to direct ventilation. Yes, I realize these are all very complicated solutions. They are making huge money, to come up with the idea of waiting....This thing very well might be with us for years, not months. Better start thinking out of the box now or we will be looking at ch7. Ch11 requires a plan, we don’t have one.
I like your Idea on the contracts, They would never agree to give it back to us but they should not be paying so much that Skywest earns a profit! Especially when we and our planes are all sitting around getting paid and fuel is crazy cheap.
