Flight Standards has reached its hiring target for FY2020. Some ASI positions, especially in hard to fill locations might get filled prior to September 13 (last full PP of the FY) but those will be based on separations between now and September 30. For Q1 on FY 2020, they are planning a risk-based approach on onboarding ASI's, also based on separation to stay at the mandated staffing number. There are many in the queue who have TOL's, they will be first to be onboarded. If you don't have a TOL, I would expect to wait 9-12 months.
