That's pretty harsh. If me taking a few months off and still getting full bennies and 45 PCH can help a more junior pilot stay off the street then i'm going to strongly consider and I think a lot of other senior pilots would consider taking it too - especially knowing that any cost savings were going exclusively towards keeping our fellow pilots off the street.
