I admit I am not intimately familiar with the uniform and appearance policy in the manual but find it incredibly hard to believe that would be acceptable, seems very unprofessional. She must be sailing very very close to the sun with this during times when the company would be happy to trim some fat from the ranks.
Word is the "gone list" each month has people on it let go for reasons that would have not been such an issue prior to COVID.
I missed my COVID check once. Just once and I got a call from the chief pilot and he tore me up. I had a pretty good idea putting up a fight was not a good idea so I just said yes sir. Won’t happen again.
I felt like I was gonna lose my job.
