Let’s make sure we are not sharing misleading information and create false hopes for people in the hiring pool or potential future candidates.
- There are currently dozens of highly qualified pilots in the hiring pool waiting for a date of training.
- With a typical new class consisting of 8 trainees, one can calculate for him/herself how long it takes to deplete the current pool.
- A big part of those candidates was interviewed last year.
- There is no “seniority” in the pool, meaning the date of the interview has little or no relevance.
- There were no interviews since spring and there will most likely be no interviews again this year
- There will most likely be no new class starting training this year. Spring 2021 might be more realistic.
Omni is a fantastic company with great long-term outlook.
