Before we start on the blah, blah, blah, "unprecedented situation" thing....... Furloughs exist to deal with unprecedented situations. They never existed for day-to-day operations. 9/11-unprecedented. Two wars at once-unprecedented. Deregulation-unprecedented. Great recession-unprecedented. Unprecedented is the first word that comes out of everyone's mouth (particularly the guy demanding the concessions). Furloughs have gotten UA through a lot of "unprecedented" situations.

Hmmm, parking all the 737s at LUAL prior to the merger was an unprecedented situation? Please save the theatrics and know your audience. I was furloughed twice and not on the chopping block this time... and I’m voting Yes to give the bottom 1/3 a lifeline until next summer... if things don’t improve then unfortunately they’ll be furloughed and the current UPA will be restored. After reading/watching all the info this is worth the risk... and this opinion coming from a FPLD convert.

Vote how you want... it’s your right.
