Many, many variables so it's hard to say.

Commuters usually bid 4 days trips. Once you're senior enough you could expect 4-5 days on, 4-5 days off. Hopefully you could bid show times that would allow you to commute same-day without overnighting in SLC too often.

As far as commuting from RAP, you would have to look at the number of daily flights to SLC, what kind of airplanes, and how many other commuters are doing it (they might bump you out of the JS).

You might also be able to do a 2-leg commute on UAX through Denver if you got in a bind.
