I agree now it is going to be any port in the storm for pilots. But in 5 years, as the industry has recovered, a pilot shortage (along with other staff) will tighten up. Pay will be forced up, or he will have a revolving door.
If at that point he is not on secure footing, financially, he will have difficulty.
agreed. I wonder how much other airlines would target hiring at a company like breeze when things return to normal. I’ve heard airlines have done this in the past to drive up training costs at competing airlines
