Generally you wouldn’t count on being able to have those off at any airline while you’re junior. Especially planning anything a year ahead. But yea, there’s basically no reserve work rules here. That’s because we’re not supposed to be spending much time on reserve with quick movement. Not the case anymore though.
So if you can make it to the top 20% in PVD, BDL, or MCO, problem solved.
And if you’re in the double digit seniority in TPA, what’s there to complain about?
Yes, seniority works every time it’s tried. Just ask the year 4 CAs having to bid into Virtual Base because they can’t hold a line in their home base.
Yep, live where you fly, fly where you live. At least that was the bill of goods I was sold.

Or if you’d care to be Virtual Base and visit a different second-class city every month while sitting red-eye reserve from 1700 - 0500 with only 9 calendar days off.
