I never worked at Breeze so I'm not "seeking validation".

Its extremely laughable that you keep suggesting a spot on the bottom of a legacy list is inferior to the top of the list at a failing startup ULCC that has never in its history turned a profit. You are either extremely naive or delusional from the blue kool aid.

This is the same cult like behavior we see from SkyWest pilots.

Ps: Why the hell would anyone seek justification/validation for leaving a sub standard LCC contract for the fortress of a legacy contract ? 🤷‍♂️ beats me!

He’s hell bent on defending the seniority card because it’s the only card he has to play. every other metric used , breeze will always be at the bottom. It wasn’t designed to be a great place to work , it was designed to make investors money on employees backs. I’ll argue that with how small the bases are at breeze, unless you’re one of the top 2 guys, your seniority doesn’t mean squat, specially when they take your trips away for training and throw you on reserve. Bottom 50% at a legacy is still better than top 50% at breeze when it Comes to QOL any day, there’s just a lot more variety and options (day trips, heavies, international, etc) and with a lot more money.

How can they place you on reserve involuntarily if you are a line holder? Don't they need the pilots permission to pull a trip for training? The industry standard is to pay protect a pilot in that situation.

We don’t get asked if we will give our trip up for IOE, they call and tell us that it was taken and that we are being pay protected and put on reserve for the day. We can be reassigned and will be paid more if the reassignment is longer than the original scheduled trip

Starting up in April and was wondering if there's a breeze thread anywhere for general breeze info or is it just this one with current big 3 pilots lurking for validation, letting us know how good their life is and how bad my choice is?

Anyone know if they're trying to staff CAK with new hires or is there a chunk of pilots looking to move to the Midwest? Wasn't sure how many they're looking to stockpile until they get a couple of planes there. Seems like it could be junior with no movement.

Default Still hiring?

Is there any DEC hiring going on? Also does Breeze really pay a commuting bonus?
