It's inevitable that Breeze is about to become WNs regional offshoot.

Morris Air was a time long ago. I don't think WN is in a position to be buying anything right now.

I didn’t get pay protected as a captain when I was forced to downgrade “transitioning” over to SWA. I would genuinely hope the same wouldn't happen to you.

Let me fix this...

WN has over 9 BILLION in cash. They also CANT afford to not make a move.

B6 would be a sticky merger. Too much airbus offloading, NYC and BOS bs to deal with. Breeze is a clean sheet. Unestablished union. 73-7 sized aircraft that satisfy wallstreet and prevent another MAX grounding disaster. Large presence in TPA, RSW, CHS, BDL, PVD, LAS..... it's almost like.... wait for it.... those are VERY POPULAR WN STATIONS. End rant.

I left breeze a few years ago, currently at a legacy but I have tranny friends who went through it when SWA bought y’all.

WN would need 500 220 to prevent a max grounding disaster. They would not survive on breezes 220 alone or their orders. WN is all in on the max weather it's a good idea or not

WN's contract as well as all the major airlines prevents operating a airline with aircraft greater than 76 seats as a separate entity.

There is more and more discussion that Airbus wants to terminate the A220 program at some point. The A330-900 is also facing questions. This might likely coincide with a decision by Airbus to design a new narrow body.

A clean sheet transport category airplane takes 15+ years to design and certify. The A220 isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Where have you seen discussion that Airbus is going to terminate the A220 program?
