Basically. Every week you can listen to the disfunction on a pilot call with leadership. Neeleman is freqgently on for a bit as well. They use the "we are still a start up" as an excuse for nothing really working.

Breeze operates in secondary routes where there’s no direct competition. If we ever go into ORD it won’t be because we have a base, it would be from some random city no legacy airline has service to. It’s going to be interesting to see what the route structure looks like if we do get all the 120 A220s. There’s supposedly thousands of routes they have planned but it seems there’s only so many secondary markets to fly to, maybe they’re looking at a bunch of international routes. But no, we won’t have a Chicago base anytime soon unless it’s from Dupage or something!
Others have tried and got absolutely destroyed. Legacies see you move in, match your route, and slash prices and operate it at a loss until you either go out of business or abandon the hub. Spirit tried to grow ORD huge and that exact same thing happened. They then had to cut the pilot base in half and reduce service out of ORD.
Understand it's unlikely but just wanted to ask just in case.
