How much does a furloughed delta pilot make? Or a 2nd yr 717 FO on reduced mpg?
And.. yeah.. it's a start up and should close the gap just fine in time. Also, from what I've heard, they are not having a hard time getting apps from all over the industry including legacy pilots (obviously the interest is short term). For all the unique covid challenges breeze is facing as a start up, the opportunities are now exponentially better and the costs so much lower. Plenty of pilots want to be there and by the time the industry turns around I doubt many will leave and start over with all the risks that come with being in the bottom 30%. We will all see I guess. I think it's a rare opportunity to be part of a Neeleman start up that some will appreciate while others won't-- no shock there.
