According to the last Vacancy Notice (1/30/08) all new hire 900 FOs in the Feb 11th class are going to Memphis. This may be different for you being in the March class, but now that the 900s will be in all three domiciles, MEM will remain the most junior. Pretty good odds that where you'll be.
As far as IOE goes, you might have a short wait, but not too bad. I had about three weeks between checkride and the start of OE, but that was over the Christmas and New Years holidays. The trips during OE are not dummied down by any means. My first two days in the plane I was going in and out of MSP, DCA, and DFW. I had a four day and a two day OE trip back to back, and flight times right up to the legal max (30/7).
