Here are some other rumors over the past several weeks.
- Big layoffs at HQs. Mostly out of recruiting and HR.
- Buying a whole bunch of CRJs as another regional is going out of business..

As far as not hiring Legacy pilots.. that certainly wasn't the case the last time around. New hire average flight times went way up. Plenty of turbine time and type ratings in the new hire classes. I was flying with a lot of pilots that had a lot more PIC turbine time than I did.
