Are they indeed? Not me. Nobody I work with seems to have that mindset. I’ve worked with probably 70 different WB pilots since the pandemic onset. The majority seem to be playing PCS to attain some degree of normalcy. Sure, there’s a good number satisfied to not fly and take some time off. But that comes at a cost. I think your statement might be as accurate as the current political polling we see every day.
To each his own, the top end has always done that. Why would a pandemic change things? I'm watching the reserves available drop like flies because of currency, much of that is intentional given the requal schedule. I'll agree to disagree. I haven't been out of the country since February. I've flown 3 trips since this started.
