Last I checked, the only reason RJs exist is because Delta Air Lines Pilots sold scope in the 90s for a higher rate on the L10. You’ve been trying to put the genie back in the bottle, but still have the benefits of it, ever since.
Without RJs bringing your HVCs from podunk to your international hubs, your international flights would be very empty. You could eliminate the RJs and do that flying yourselves, but then you will all ***** and moan about crappy domestic flying. Or you could just shut up, let the RJs fly, and give the slave labor flying them (who create your profit sharing) some measly crumbs by letting them have decent pass benefits. Or you can keep complaining online for another 20 years, but that hasn’t changed anything yet, it just gives the rest of us in the industry to laugh at you all for your massive egos.
