let’s stop making excuses - they lied. And while some may try to justify that as situational ethics - we didn’t want the great unwashed to start hoarding n95 masks like they did toilet paper, did we? - the realty is that Public Health and Preventive Medicine have always depended for their effectiveness on the confidence of the public.
