Ha! I'm a little late to the punch. I just got my power back a few hours ago. I live in Memphis off of Lamar Ave., a little South of Winchester Rd. I was way too close to those tornados for comfort. I was actually sitting on the floor of my bathroom with a flashlight for about 30 minutes that night. When I went outside there were trees and powerlines down all around my house. The big one that destroyed Hickory Ridge Mall missed my house by about half a mile.
That's my second close encounter with a tonado in the past few years. My avatar is an actual photo I took in Denver about a year ago. The United is not photoshop-ed in.
Good luck to all you guys starting classes at Mesaba. I had class dates at a few airlines and ultimately chose Mesaba. No regrets so far. Everybody I've flown with and trained with have been awesome.

That seems to be a trend with Mesaba trainees. For us, it was a flaming t-bone that prompted the evac.
