People vote, land doesn't. This election has in particular is showing the holes in our electoral system. The Founders attempted to thwart a DJT type but as we are seeing change might very well be needed.
Not to mention about 60 million Americans live in the largest 100 cities and about 60 million Americans live in rural areas. Pretty even, the rest are spread out in suburbs which as we know can be quite purple. I don't buy into the small states being left behind in the event of NPV get passed.
