I sent an email to training a couple weeks ago asking if there was any timing on when the "Do Overs" could expect training. I was told that it could be sometime before that happens. The priority is getting pilots qualified again. Which means you could be requaled in the plane you are displaced off of. I'm seeing that happening already. So if you've been home since March waiting to hear from the training dept, you will very soon.
I thought the statement, on the displacement bid that closes today, that training may start in January a little comical. Sure, maybe a handful will go to training but I doubt the majority will go anytime soon.
If anyone of us Jr Groupers gets assigned training back to their displaced aircraft or other Do Over category and is currently qualified and flying in another aircraft, please let us know. I'm very curious.
