I was talking to a recruiter from the Canadian Air Force and I was asking him about getting free training from the Military. He told me that it would better to specialize in aircraft like the C-17 doing cargo and transport missions rather than becoming a fighter pilot flying Canada's CF-18s. But I want your opinion. If I want to get a job with a Major Airline in a future, would it be smarter to specialize on a larger 4 engine aircraft than going into the fighter program? Does it really matter? What do you think?
