But if we were to open an actual pilot base in FL, MCO would make the most sense. It’s the least affected by snow birds. During the good times (PC), the time of year didn’t matter. Everything was full, every flight, to and from MCO. Now, if LATAM survives, and our codeshare survives their BK, then a MIA base might make more sense, if we get some of the AA/LATAM flights that had been operated by AA. But if their Codeshare police were anything like our codeshare police, all the flights were operated by LATAM, and unlikely to change hands anytime soon.

I agree, but with a JV isn’t supposed to be shared flights?
I think at one point I saw that the focus was going to be Mia and Mco. LaTam doing the heavy international lifting and Delta the domestic flying. Sad that Covid didn’t helped us, but I’m hopeful that we will get there eventually.
