Pretty sure they said the same thing about XJT. They got them, then they lost them, then they were let go. They could just as easily tell SkyWest and Republic that they need to have pilots only fly one contract to keep the United owned 175’s that they operate. They could then offer Aviate to them just like they do Mesa and avoid the cost of another shuffle. UAX is going to go through some potentially big changes in the next few years. I wouldn’t want to put money on any option since United has a history of saying one thing, and doing another. All anyone can do is sit, watch, and hope that they don’t draw the short straw.
