A. SkyWest's business model doesn't fly United metal exclusively with dedicated pilots - all pilots fly across all their contract mainline partners. This makes it awkward to have a program with them because doing so would actually be an advantage to our competitors. Our program is designed to attract pilots to fly in our ecosystem and if we were to deploy at SkyWest (or Republic), we’d actually be attracting pilots into Delta and American’s ecosystems as well.-updated 1/07/21
I didn’t want to be the one to cut and paste something from a company site, so I paraphrased. What they say and what they do are usually completely different....... 75 new 737-700’s, A350’s, significant reduction in 50 seaters, etc. Nothing around here is true until there is a displacement or vacancy bid.
