Yeah, I’ve got years worth of those stories, too. Yet I’m still here & so are you. So either we were too stupid to do anything about it, or it wasn’t/isn’t actually THAT bad.
Possibly some some combination of the two, in my case...
or.....like Andy in Shawshank Redemption......it’s worth it to crawl through that pipe full of shizz, because what’s waiting for you when you make it out is TOTALLY worth it. (Assuming you actually DO make it.....and I know plenty who didn’t.)
