This is our problem right here. In this thread so far and in this one post we have three pilots that have an idea of what VEBA is (one more correct than the other), but can not completely describe it, and they voted yes or no for a contract that explains in in words they can easily reference to better understand it.
In my defense, I tried to condense my explanation to a point that makes the point I was trying to make, not an all encompassing detailed dissertation. Also, I wasn’t here for the last contract ratification. Admittedly, my understanding does not come from the actual contractual language. It comes from the PRP explanation published by ALPA years ago.
