I made that statement partially in jest. AS is the hometown team and I'm unhappy at some of the things I see happening to friends who work there. BobMarley stated it well. It's been several years since the arbitrator gutted your salaries and negotiations is dragging along slower than a dying slug. Pretty soon, this will be the status quo.
The RLA has crippled your ability to self help. Management gives itself bonuses and such, while the newest FO has to apply for welfare and food stamps. The work rules are getting draconian, bordering on jeopardizing safety. It's like going into a gunfight armed with a knife.
So, yeah, I'm unhappy with Bill and the gang. I have never been shy about saying so on the forums either.
