Yeah, there's a shortage of people willing to pay for training and then work for regional entry-level wages. It used to be worth putting up with for a few years...but the few years has gotten longer, and the pot of gold at the end is now considerably smaller.

No shortage at the majors...they may not be getting as many resumes from experienced space-shuttle pilots as they'd like, but they all have stacks of them from people with glass/jet PIC time. Except maybe United
