In late 2015 our class average (of the civilians) was a 737 type, 6000+ total time, minimum 1000 turbine PIC, and most had experience as a check airman, instructor, or manager of some sort.

The majority of the civilians were 121 guys, but we had several corporate as well.

Of course, the type is no longer required.

Our class was 50/50 military, with about half of those having 121 experience.
