250 - 115 = 135 which comes very close to the 138 miles remaining. It also means you drove the car like casual Sunday drive. Get your money's worth out of the "Performance" and bury your right foot in the potentiometer a little more. A few front row traffic lights next to an AMG, Porsche or M Series will encourage you to increase battery consumption.
Actually part of that drive was a demo with my son and him driving. We fully explored the acceleration envelope at least 10 times. I suspect my good results were mostly the low average speed. Had the entire drive been at 79 mph the remaining mileage would probably have been under 100 miles.
