20Fathoms: A model S that caught my attention is a 2018 with low miles. Should still have some factory warranty if what I read regarding 4 year/50k warranties was accurate, and providing that telsa honors the warranty to subsequent owners.

Falcon20: thanks for the info. I'm torn on whether I like the older or newer nose. Is bio defense an option or standard? Sounds like something to prepare for the zombie apocalypse, ha.

Sailingfun: that sounds a little better, but it is still "disappointing" to hear that tesla would take away a feature from a subsequent owner that purchased it with that option installed. Especially since it appears that it was tesla's mistake in the first place to have included it if the first buyer didn't pay for it. Optics/culture and all that.....
