Most airlines require 100ME to meet minimums. Simulator time does not count towards these mins. Like the requirements state 100 hours multi-engine
flight time, and that can only be logged in the actual aircraft. Skywest is very strict about their mins. Two friends of mine both submitted their paperwork a mere 5 or 10 hours short of the ME & intsrument requirements and their paperwork was rejected on the spot. He will need 25 hrs more ME to apply, unless he want to try for Great Lakes. They only require 750 hrs Total Time & 50 hrs Multi Engine.
