It will be found during a background, and I'm not the type to cover it up anyway.

Honesty is the best policy. If the first airline I tell chooses not to hire me for it, I will continue to apply until one does. I'll fly boxes in lower Alabama if necessary.....
This is my EXACT same situation, dumb decision and I got out of it by a minor mistake by the arresting officer, but the arrest is there and through a diversion program if I get another DUI (which will DEFINITELY NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN) I will then have 2 on my record. Even happened 7 years ago... when I was 17 - stupid kid.

I thank the origional poster for his coming forward and stating that he was indeed able to be successful as a pilot even with this on his record, it really helps me believe I will be able to do the same.

MCLEACH71, I'm going to send you a PM, I'd like to hear about your interview experiences if you are getting ready to start since our situation is very close to being identical.

PS... to the poster that said you did not have to disclose an arrest, I think I'd rather disclose it rather than not tell them, get hired and later get fired from a 121 job and have that on my pilot record... that would make life pretty much impossible...
