Our logbook is bound so when I write in it my left hand is on the binding “hump” of pages. The plus side is my hand never touches the page in writing on. The downside, I can’t reach the paper I’m writing in without compressing the binding and contorting my hand.
That’s why I bought a $125 custom titanium engraved pen. So at least I can look cool to myself while struggling.
