A good place to build quality flight time and actually make some money is in the area of corporate flying or working for a quality aircraft management company such as Executive Filteways, Tag Aviation, Jet Aviation etc. I think pilots often overlook general aviation as a viable career. For those of you that are looking to move up to a major airline, general aviation is a great place to build quality experience and get a couple of type ratings which will help you build a solid resume and offer a fall back in the event of a furlough.
