What does any of this matter? We are all pilots. Why does anyone care what airline is doing better and get joy out of one doing better than another. We are all pilots and how we ended up at one airline or another is largely timing or luck. And we had better hope the legacies do well because we don’t want them dropping 777 capacity all over the country even if they do it in the red. And if we plan on making nice gains in the next cycle they need to be making gains as well.
