Looking at Google Maps, there's a grocery store that looks within walking distance, south of the motel next to a Home Depot for reference. As well as a couple of restaurants in the neighboring hotels. Hope this helps..
Yes there is a grocery store and a home depot. You'll have to walk past the homeless encampment to get there which is always a toss up whether you will get harassed or not. Also, don't count on the restaurants being anything worthwhile. The TGI Fridays in the Crowne Plaza may be the worst chain restaurant ever. Oh yeah, no hoodies, sunglasses, or hats allowed in the lobby of the hotel. And they don't have any cash on premises. Enjoy!
