It is not quite as false as you are trying to get people to believe. Failing people for reasons other than their performance is a long tradition at Gojet and Trans States Holdings. It was even done when we had a class full of people and determined we did not need so many pilots. It was cheeper to let them get to their checkride and fail them than it was to furlough them. That is how we were able to have a class of 42 at TSA in 2007 and flunk out 40 of the 42.

But compare that with Republic which required a 24k training agreement, where even if they fired you or furloughed you, you were required to pay them the 24k.. At TSH you could go half way through training, quit, and owe them nothing. It's not all bad here in Saint Louis!
