Had one on the jumpseat a couple years back. How did I know he was a two-star? He told us before our headsets were even plugged in.
If I was in the reserves that’s probably something I would want to know before I put my huge foot in my mouth. Like having a check airman on the jumpseat, it’s nice of them to give you a head’s up.
