From a pax perspective, the packs are terrible on the ground. You see a lot of people reaching up to try to open the gasper only to find it is open. But it is noticeably quieter than the NG.
The max seems is a little better than the NG, but the inability to keep the cabin cool on the ground is still a major design flaw. You’d think that repeatedly stretching a 50+ year old design would work better than that.
