Don't be so sure about that... when is the last flight of the day out of your home airport?

For example, if you get a 0700 report time, they will call you at 1900. If there are no flight after 1900 to get to your domicile and the first flight in the morning brings you in after 0700 you will have missed an assignment.

A buddy if mine lives in SLC and is based in ORD and has to commute in to sit long call (12h) in Chicago and being away from his family. Because he cannot guarantee that he can make the 12h callout
