The current CBA does not provide any requirements in regards to proper reserve coverage per base per seat... so if they have more Captains than First Officers, its not an issue because they can just throw you in the right seat...and it is done by seniority. As far as training goes, everyone knows that G7 has one of the worst training programs out there. The company refuses to fully transition to AQP which means that you are under N & O. Many of the APD's in STL are former Transtates employees who thought the grass was greener on the other side. Many of them have a chip on thier shoulder and are very inconsistent. You have people that go through the training footprint who upgrade and have no issues, but quite frankly have no earthly business being in the left seat. Then you have people who are more then qualified who bust their ride over something stupid. The training is inconsistent and the company refuses to invest any more money into it then they have to. Think about that for a minute.
As far as attitude... you can have a great attitude here, it has no bearing on anything. The company will do what it wants to do, end of discussion. That is the reality of the situation. Do no be fooled. You will be promised the world and given a load of BS. That simple.
As far as pay rates, yes the company is pushing 50 seat pay rates on an aircraft that is certified to carry 70+... All I can say is...watch the boat sink. If you really think it is worth sticking around all because of some falsely advertised flows... think again. Frontier has established flows with ATP and Embry Riddle...I wonder why? Maybe because we are not flowing anyone and because the company has no intention to do so...
As far as bonuses they can take them away as quickly as they offer them. There is nothing in our CBA that prohibits the company from doing that. Allot of pilots who were promised bonuses did not get them. Many pilots left during the furlough. In the first 90 days of this year, 150 pilots left the property. Resignations and no recalls to go to other places which will treat them better. No surprise.
I would not expect any bonuses to return anytime soon. That money came directly from United, and they are still in clean up mode after COVID. Any other regional who is offering bonuses, such as SKYWEST, it is coming out of their pocket, not United's. Big difference.
Seniority is everything. Do not think that you will be put directly into the left seat if you are hired as a street Captain here... the reality is, without seniority you are nothing.
We do not do CQFO. It is either CA or FO. All this talk about not having a contract or 50 seat pay is false. The old contract from 2016 is still in effect, new one being negotiated. There is no way we would take a pay cut, no idea how these rumors get started. You will get some right seat flying as a CA here if you are on reserve, but the majority will be left seat. You get paid as a CA 100% of the time if you are a CA regardless of what seat you fly from on any trip. Stuff you said about training dept here is 100% false. Just had to bring a few actual facts into the discussion.
