It is well known the G7 constantly violates the CBA with the Pilots. Recently, they cancelled vacations in July and told the pilot group that it would be paid out...without any pilot mutually agreeing to do that and never offering to allow those pilots who were effected to reschedule their vacation. In other words... we do not care about your vacation. Oh, and you better make sure that you babysit the company and make sure they pay you for your vacation...like with everything else.
As far as YOUR facts... just because you have not flown in the right seat in three years means nothing. There is one fact, there are allot of mid level carriers who will if not already hire pilots with NO PIC turbine time. So, again, pushing the whole street captain issues means nothing. If you have a clean record you can basically go where you want and that will continue to be the case as demand increases and there is more and more need for pilots.
People forget, allot of older guys took early retirement during covid, so the situation has become exasperated and will continue to do so... unless something else happens.
Those who choose to pick up open time at a premium are only screwing themselves and other pilots. Helping the company is NOT going to get you anywhere. That is a fact. I for one refuse to blow smoke up anyone's a..
Let the boat sink. If nothing else, it will put an end to the below industry standard practices that G7 has.
"A lot" is actually two words. Not "allot". And I'm not management, been flying the line for going on 6 years. Affected not effected.
