Reading through this thread I'm a little confused about the interview process. I received an email Wednesday inviting me to a 2 day pilot career event at their facilities in CMH. In the email it said it would include a sim eval as well as a 1 hour interview with the leadership team. The email said once I confirmed my availability someone would reach out to me to pre-qualify my resume and have brief qualifying conversation. Is this the phone interview that posts in this thread are referencing? I guess I'm confused because replies in this thread make it sound like they reach out first via phone for a phone interview then invite you in for the in-person interview/sim eval, but based on the email I got it makes it sound like I'm going straight in to the in-person/sim-eval. Maybe they're changing up the process with COVID/travel restrictions being lifted?
Hey good morning! Hopefully I can help bring a little clarity to this for you.. you just applied at an exciting time where our talent acquisition team is needing to hold some larger events to bring in the amount of folks needed. As far as I understand things, the process itself hasn't changed, the normal interview process that you've read about here will continue, but in ADDITION to that, they will be holding a "Pilot Expo," event, as a means to interview and offer positions to more people at one time. I think that they will hold these Expo's as needed, and obviously the format of that will be a bit different, so, it just depends on when you apply, and when NetJets is considering an Expo event. Either way, stay loose, go with the flow, and demonstrate your flexibility to our interview team, as that character trait is a huge part of our job.
