Be careful whith the term "jumpseat" I believe most are talking about codeshare (ie, riding in the back for free space available) versus true jumpseat (in the cockpit) which only 121 carriers can do on other 121. Fracs are 135 and not allowed to fly in the cockpit and very few airlines have agreements to let us fly free.
1. Codeshare is a marketing agreement between airlines and has nothing to do with jumpseats and pass privileges.
2. Jumpseat agreements are between 2 air carriers for travel on each others jumpseats. CASS approved carriers may ride in the actual jumpseat. Non-CASS must ride space available in the cabin.
