Devil’s advocate, the weight and distance limit is a function of UALPAs scope agreement baked into the derivatives certification to make it legal per scope.

DALPA does have some similar language that is not as restrictive. The main issue that DAL sees is a 70 seat airplane is not economical for a 50 seat configuration. Further consideration is that flying ATL-CSG or MSP-RST, you don’t need 10 first class seats and 20 comfort plus seats. It’s a 20 minute flight.
