DALPA does have some similar language that is not as restrictive. The main issue that DAL sees is a 70 seat airplane is not economical for a 50 seat configuration. Further consideration is that flying ATL-CSG or MSP-RST, you don’t need 10 first class seats and 20 comfort plus seats. It’s a 20 minute flight.
Exactly. If you remember a year or two ago there was a town hall. The execs said they did a cost analysis and couldn't figure out how to make a 550 work profitably for us. I think they even joked about how they couldn't figure out how G7 could do it. (I have a theory.....)
