However, the larger issue that I’ve heard is that because of 1-2-3, the PW 777’s ETOPS future is in jeopardy. So even though there’s a timeline to fix all the fan blades, I think there’s still some uncertainty regarding the types of trips the jets will actually fly.

Brutal if true that ETOPS is in jeopardy. Would be a big decision to bring these 20-25 year old jets back and repaint/mod/fix. Might be better to bring the 350 online faster or order a mix of more 300ERs/787-10s or even the 777X when it gets here.
